Your bedroom shouldn't just contain a bed.

Every room is designed by us, through our own interiors company, The Collective Design & Build, and no two are the same. Each has its own quirks: some have bay window seats (or, as we like to call them, reading nooks), and some have a study nook. All are designed for real life: sleeping, studying and switching off.

Your safety matters

Feeling safe at home isn't optional.

All our homes are on a well lit main road. There's no back street or dark passage to walk down to get to your front door. On top of that:

  • Sensor triggered flood lights
  • Key card entry on the front door
  • A turn key lock on every bedroom door
  • Intercom for the upper floor apartments

And yes, if you lose your key, don't worry. We can deactivate it and issue you a new one.

Moving in

Here are your keys.

At move in, Scarlett or Helen (or both!) will be there to check you in personally. Here's how it works.

  1. A month beforeWe send you an e-folder with some forms to complete: Right to Rent paperwork, tenant information and other basic admin, nothing scary. It includes a welcome letter confirming your check in date and time, and yes, you need to confirm you can make it. If you can't, and you're in a one bedroom home, we'll arrange another time. In a shared apartment, a flatmate can accept your check in, as long as we have your written consent.
  2. A week beforeWe text you to confirm your check in date and time, and that your deposit has been received.
  3. Move in dayScarlett or Helen (or both!) will be there to greet you personally, show you into your sparkly clean home and walk you through where everything is and how it works. You'll get a welcome folder with all the need to knows: the house rules, when the bins go out, the WiFi password, and our mobile numbers.
  4. Room on the driveCheck in times are staggered so every tenant has space on the driveway to unload safely and easily. Once your things are in, we just ask that you clear the drive for the next check in.
