Pets welcome

A house isn't a home without our four-legged friends.

So we've made sure they feel as welcome as you are. We accept pets of all shapes and sizes, whether that's a therapy pet or a simple cuddle companion.

Keeping everybody happy

A few simple steps.

To keep the peace in every home, here's what we ask.

  • Prior consent from a member of The Dog House team before any pet comes into one of our homes.
  • The pet's owner signs a pet friendly agreement alongside their tenancy agreement. It sets out the rules that protect you, your pet, your neighbours and us.
  • Everyone living in the apartment agrees that the pet can join them.
  • Everyone living with a pet reads our pet policy.

Pet spaces

Pug Pad and Mutt Mansion A and B have their own private gardens, with direct access. There's also a designated pet toilet in the communal garden.

"What if I'm not a pet person?"

You won't be living with noise, smells or mess. We have an open door policy and invite honesty and conversation, so if a pet is causing a nuisance, we have a sensible conversation with the owner and agree measures to put it right within a set time. If that doesn't happen, we ask that the pet is rehomed until the behaviour is sorted, and it only comes back once we're confident it is. And at the end of every tenancy there's a hand over and sparkle clean, with our in-house team checking that no smells, scratches or traces are left behind.
